Muhammad Al-Qahtani is one of the highly valued detainees held at Guantanamo Bay.1
According to the FBI reports,2 Muhammad was subjected to all sorts of abuse including cold cell torture, and was hospitalized at one point for hypothermia. He faced a 50% mortality rate, but survived.

Out of hundreds of innocent victims tortured at Guantanamo Bay, is appears only five were actually connected to the attacks of 9/11.
But as of March of 2023, it became evident efforts to prosecute the five failed and no justice will come forth for the families of 9/11 victims.
The entire Bush/Cheney torture program was for naught. Worse, it prevented justice from occuring as we lost the high ground, denying even a basis to charge.
